Import & Export Operations
A documented and transparent trade framework — from certified Indonesian mills to Indian distribution points, with full regulatory compliance at every stage.
Sourcing from Certified Indonesian Mills
Indonesia is one of the world's largest producers of paper and pulp products, with established manufacturing infrastructure and internationally recognised quality standards. Okarta sources its A4 copier paper directly from certified Indonesian mills that maintain FSC certification and ISO manufacturing standards.
Our sourcing strategy is based on long-term partnerships with a select number of mills, rather than spot procurement. This approach ensures consistency in product quality, reliability in supply, and stability in pricing across shipments.
Each procurement order is accompanied by a formal purchase contract, quality specifications, and agreed delivery schedules. Pre-shipment inspection is conducted to verify that the product meets our stated quality parameters before dispatch from the mill.

Port Logistics & Customs Compliance
Every shipment is processed through authorised Indian ports with full customs documentation and regulatory clearance.
Shipping & Transit
Containerised shipments (20ft and 40ft) from Indonesian ports to major Indian ports including JNPT (Nhava Sheva), Mundra, and Chennai. Transit times and shipping lines are selected based on reliability and schedule consistency.
Customs Processing
All import consignments are cleared through Indian customs in full compliance with the Customs Act and applicable tariff regulations. Customs duties, GST, and other applicable levies are paid as per the prevailing rate schedule.
Documentation
Complete trade documentation is maintained for every shipment — including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, phytosanitary certificates, and quality test reports.
Indian Warehousing & Distribution
Upon customs clearance, consignments are transported to our warehousing facilities where the paper is stored under appropriate conditions to maintain quality. Warehousing locations are strategically positioned to serve key distribution markets efficiently.
Distribution is managed through a combination of direct deliveries to large-volume buyers and shipments to regional distributors. Our logistics framework is designed to serve both metro and Tier-2 city markets across India.
All warehouse operations include proper inventory management, batch tracking, and dispatch documentation. Buyers receive complete delivery documentation with each consignment.
